AI tools are getting better fast, but people working in PR and communications are still figuring out how to use them well. This workshop helps you try out AI tools in a safe and fun way. You’ll use these tools to understand your audience better and learn how to talk to them effectively.

10:00 bis 18:00

Morning:
· How PR roles are changing because of AI
· Overview of AI in PR – the good, the challenges, and the most useful tools.
Afternoon:
· Learning about your audience – definitions, models, and real-life.
· Practice finding and learning about your audience using AI tools (like ChatGPT and others) and without.
· The art of storytelling and making memorable content.
· Trying out storytelling with and without AI.
· Group activity on creating content using AI.
Wrap-up and extras:
· Measurement and evaluation principles, reflective practice and ethical decision making applied to PR (with and without AI use)

An wen richtet sich die Veranstaltung?

Target group

If you work in PR or communications, whether in a company, for the government, in a non-profit, or any other organization, and you’re curious about using AI in your work, this workshop is for you. Also, if you have just landed into a PR/Comms role and feel you’d need to know a bit more about the science behind the profession, then this workshop is for you too.

Lernziele

Was lernen Sie in dieser Veranstaltung?

  • Learn the latest about AI uses in PR and Communications
  • Practice finding out who your audience is (more specifically who your stakeholders are), with and without AI’s help, and see which works better
  • Learn how to tell stories and create content that people remember
  • Understand how to see if your messages are working
  • Think about what you might need to change in your work to do better with AI
  • Think about what you else you might need to ensure that the decions you take are ethical and that your communication work has meaningful and positive consequences

Wie werden die Weiterbildungsinhalte vermittelt?

1. Presentations
2. Activities on identifying and learning about your audience (comparing your findings to what AI gives you)
3. Storytelling and content creation, with and without AI
4. Working together in groups

Voraussetzungen

Welche Voraussetzungen sollte man erfüllen?

Preconditions

If possible, access to ChatGPT 4 would be great; ChatGPT 3.5 is also fine. We’ll also try Claude and HuggingChat. Before the class, please go to the MIT Moral Machine website and complete the 13 scenarios to help us discuss how AI decisions can differ across cultures:
